Haifa Wehbe has raised her wage to $70.000 to perform in any new year’s or Christmas’ concerts, which is a sum $10.000 higher than the sum she used to get in her latest shows. Haifa –as confirmed by Maitres Ds- wanted and had promised to keep her previous wage after recession but then had raised it again after finding that many divas have done so like Elissa, Nancy Ajram, Diana Haddad, Madeleine Mattar, and Marwa by 15-25% and that they even have signed contracts after raising their wages.

Abdel Halim Ismail Shabana commonly known as Abdel Halim(June 21, 1929 – March 30, 1977), was one of the most popular Egyptian singers and actors not only in Egypt but throughout the Middle East from the 1950s to the 1970s. He is widely considered to be one of the four 'greats' of Egyptian and Arabic music,along with Umm Kulthum, Mohammed Abdel Wahab and Farid Al Attrach. Abdel Halim's music is still played on radio daily in Egypt and the Arab world. His name is sometimes written as 'Abd el-Halim Hafez, and he was also sometimes known as el-Andaleeb el-Asmar (the Dark Nightingale, He is also sometimes known as the "Arabian Elvis".

Samira Said is busy preparing for her next album, but the label remains undecided after she decline to renew contract with Alam el Phan. The Moroccan leading singer’s latest album, Ayyam Hayati (Days of My Life), faced many obstacles. This, and fees below what she expects are behind her split with the record company. There was one video from the album for Hobb May’oud Menno (Hopeless Love),A new single is underway, it seems, as Said is meeting with lyricist Ayman Bahgat Qamar and arranger Tareq Madkour. It will be a self-funded project, including the video. This may extend to the entire album if she finds a good distributor.
